I read this out of conviction for not having read enough of the Jewish Lit canon. Behrman reassured me that it was witty but misogynist. He was not wrong. Basically? Kid with ‘typical’ overbearing Jewish mother fucks shikses, doesn’t care about them, finally gets to fuck a real Israeli Jew and can’t keep it up. Oh, and he masturbates a lot too. I mean, he’s a great writer, and I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it and picture this epic neurotic speaking in monologue in my head, but maybe I should have gone for American Pastoral instead.

Well, at least Alex Portnoy likes eating girls out.

Sometimes when I am playing Scrabulous this ad shows up in the midst of my brow-furrowing strategy.

I feel so bad for these models. They were clearly subject to the most awkward photo shoot ever and probably did not even get paid well.

Now that I have noted that not just my preppy-ass parents’ polos are on the markets, I plan to gallivant in granny panties, but who am I kidding? I have never seen either of my parents wearing a polo.

Also? I got Facebook pranked one time and Allison made my sex ‘Male’ and I never changed it back [keep 'em guessin'!] so now all the ads that show up are of sexeh kitten wimmin. Yum yum yum.

R. Kelly Watch: June 6th

I’ve shirked on my R. Kelly Watch duties and I’ll tell you why. It’s because I’m sure that if you follow any sort of celeb gossip site you know that he’s on trial right now, and as someone who has fervently adored this man since, oh, Space Jam, it’s just too sad for me. Here is a standardized test-style analogy to explain:

and, despite my undying adoration for this man, my thoughts go out to the young lady involved in this debacle. This blog would like to express the opinion that consent is not just important, it is a necessity in any loving, adult relationship.
