I know it’s triflin’ BUT:

I got quoted by Gawker. I’m #7. Yeah, it was a comment, BUT STILL. And TRUE. Fixie-riders are mostly straight! [and always cute. ;D]

Like a proud mother…

…I’d like to point you in the direction of The Cynics’ Party.

Greg Wasserstrom is a radi-cool friend o’ mine from my ol’ days in COLLEGE. He’s one of my head editors over at Culture Warrior [even though I’m a shirking blogger! I promise, this will change! It’s all part of my renewed interest in being a proud member of the creative underclass!]  and within the past year has seen enormous success with his photogs, and his brief [and ultimately fatal] stint at Wonkette. If you are a religious Gawker Media devotee like me, than you are aware of the Massive, Disturbing Changes this Public Empire has been undergoing, and so it seems that it’s continually disturbing as Wonkette’s Ken Layne has made the decision to get rid of his two most talented writers, amongst others. DOUCHEBAG! But, Gregory Prevails and is charging on with the wonderful Megan Carpentier and I totally feel like a proud, overbearing Jewish mother in the wake of his new endeavors. [While you’re at it, check out my blogroll? I’m just so proud of my friends and their ideas and I want to make the gods of blogging, e.g. Emily Gould, proud of the ‘blogosphere’ -ack?- again.]
